Letztes Wochenende haben wir die erste Ernte von unseren alten Pflaumenbäumen am unteren Rand der Streuobstwiese eingesammelt. Wir haben einen sonnigen Vormittag damit verbracht, ca. 20 Bäume abzuernten (und soviel Pflaumen wie möglich zu essen). Am Nachmittag haben wir daraus jede Menge Plumbrillo (eine Art Pflaumengelee), Marmelade und Kuchen gemacht.

Last weekend we collected a bountiful harvest from our old plum trees. We spent a sunny saturday morning picking (and eating) at the bottom of the orchard and in the afternoon we happily created as much jam, plumbrillo and cake as we could.
